City Guide: Los Angeles

Which is your favourite destination to date?
My second favourite in the world is Los Angeles (Bangkok is my first). It is such a beautiful city to just relax and a great location to be able to travel around to. I love the idea of a great Californian road trip. During my previous visits there, I'd made the drive up to Palm Springs, the Cabazon Dinosaurs, Joshua Tree and eventually to Salvation Mountain. Also, we have done Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

Where/what would you recommend to eat, shop, or do in Los Angeles?
The Hart and The Hunter at the Pali Hotel for good, southern food.
In-N-Out Burger of course, I'm a sucker for American fast food.

Go vintage shopping every Sunday at the Melrose Trading Post. And if you're lucky, every three weeks, there is the Rose Bowl Flea market which is the largest antique flea market in the US. Find antiques, clothing, collectibles, furniture and basically everything you need. I love digging for treasure.
There is also an outpost of my favourite store from New York, called Reformation, that does up-cycled fashion.

Take walks at the Venice Canals and peep into some beautiful beach homes.
Watch the sunset from the beaches along Malibu.
