New York City Fashion Week Fall 2011 kicks off on September 8th, and Roomorama is back with our Fashion Week Giveaway! We will be giving away three pairs of tickets, one set to the Katie Gallagher show, another to Erickson Beamon and one to the Imitation by Tara Subkoff show. The lucky winners will also get invites to our exclusive lounge and closing party for them and a friend.

The Designers
This will be Tara Subkoff’s second New York Fashion Week with her Imitation label. She’s applied to this year’s line the same focus on creating basics with an edge that she had as a collaborator on the Imitation of Christ label, showcasing vintage-inspired pieces in muted colors like black, gray, and gold with a dash of sequins, just in case you’d forgotten that fashion can be glitzy, too.
Erickson Beamon was founded by Detroit natives Karen and Eric Erickson and Vicki Beamon in 1983. Made up of beautifully original pieces, their vintage-inspired jewelry collections are the epitome of bohemian luxe, with fans today including Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwyneth Paltrow. Few designers can boast having dressed both the First Lady AND Lady Gaga -with amazing designs and superior crafting, Erickson Beamon enjoys that distinctive honor.
At 25 Katie Gallagher’s already very at home in the fashion world, showing a collection at New York Fashion Week for the fifth time this fall. The up-and-comer is known for having dressed Lady Gaga on more than one occasion, and delivers what a Gaga fan would expect with her futuristic looks this season.
The Party and Lounge
Our lounge (open Monday and Tuesday from 11AM-8PM and Wednesday from 11AM – 6PM) offers mini-makeovers, yoga classes, massages, snacks and beverages, a flat screen TV and free WiFi- everything you need to feel like a celebrity. And it only gets better at night, when we’ll be offering wine, cocktails, music and dessert. Our closing party on the 14th with a DJ, cocktails, refreshments and more giveaways is the perfect way to end the week. Très chic!
